Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police chief S P Vaid said that three more Kashmiri youth have shunned the militancy and returned home. "Another 3 young boys in valley came back home in response to the call of their families. God bless them," tweeted Director General of Police S P Vaid. According to the reports, two teenagers from Kangan area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, who had gone missing and later updated their pictures carrying a hand grenade over social media, have today surrendered before Army in Pulwama. The two teenager students had gone missing after offering Friday prayers at the local mosque in Kangan. The duo then uploaded their pictures on Facebook, carrying a hand grenade. However, today the boys returned home and joined their families. The identity of the third youth is still unknown. The development has come at a time when video of slain 16-year-old Jaish militant Fardeen Ahmad Khanday urging youngsters to join militancy is doing rounds on the internet. Khanday was killed along with two associates on Monday in a gunfight with the government forces that began after the trio launched a pre-dawn attack on a CRPF camp in Lethpora area of Pulwama. Five CRPF men were killed and three injured in the attack.
